Dr Eamon Ryan BVSc, BVETbio, MANZCVs

Veterinarian

Eamon grew up in Gundaroo but since graduating from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga he has spent time working in Melbourne, England, Jersey and Hong Kong before returning back to Gundaroo. Growing up on a farm, Eamon was always been around animals.

Eamon has completed post graduate qualifications such as his Memberships in small animal surgery and has almost completed his Gradate Certificate in small animal orthopedics.

Eamon is aware that not everyone can’t afford a specialist referral so is passionate to provide a quality alternative for a range of complex surgeries such as fracture repairs, abdominal surgery, TPLOs, Spinal surgeries, and CT imaging.

Eamon’s main hobbies outside of work are cycling and running, having competed in the world championship for duathlon. However, since having children in 2021 and 2023, his rare time off is spent with his family and walking his two Labradors Betty and Peggy.

 

Dr Henry Xue BVSc
Veterinarian

Dr. Henry Xue graduated from the University of Melbourne Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2018 and ever since has been strongly dedicated to small animal care.

Henry has a special interest in all things surgery, striving to further develop both orthopaedics and soft tissue procedures.

Henry is currently living in Barton with his senior fur babies, Jack Russell Terrier, ‘Spot’ and Labrador Retriever, ‘Zayla’.

Outside work, you can find him walking around the lake or exercising in the gym. Henry speaks both Chinese and English.

 

 
Dr Emma Tollis BVSc, BVETbio,Veterinarian

Emma grew up in a small village south of Canberra before moving to Sydney for 6 years to complete her Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sydney. She has since moved back home and joined both our Belconnen and Gundaroo practices in August of 2023.

Emma is the proud owner of three domestic shorthair cats; Pippin, Perdita and Edwin. She also lives with four other cats, three dogs, a rabbit, a guinea pig and eight chickens - quite the menagerie!

While she enjoys working with animals of all shapes and sizes, Emma has a special interest in both sheep and cats and hopes to pursue future study in these areas. She is also passionate about providing quality end-of-life care for our aging or palliative patients.

When she isn’t at work Emma spends her time baking, reading, playing video games, or taking care of her many younger siblings.
